WHEN TO SEARCH FOR A THERAPIST?

It is beneficial for a person to start searching for a therapist when they are experiencing challenges or difficulties that are impacting their daily life, relationships, or overall well-being. This can include symptoms of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or trauma, as well as significant life changes, relationship issues, or unresolved emotional issues. Additionally, if someone is feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or lacking clarity in their life, seeking therapy can provide valuable support and guidance. It is important to remember that therapy is not limited to crisis situations and can be beneficial for anyone seeking personal growth, self-exploration, or a safe space to discuss their thoughts and emotions. Ultimately, the decision to start searching for a therapist is a personal one, and individuals should trust their intuition and seek professional help when they feel ready and open to the process of therapy.

WHAT ARE (SAP) Substance Abuse Professional Evaluations?

SAP Evaluations are a vital service for employees in safety-sensitive positions regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) who have violated drug and alcohol testing regulations. These evaluations, conducted by certified Substance Abuse Professionals (SAP), ensure public and workplace safety by assessing the individual, recommending appropriate education or treatment, and outlining follow-up testing and aftercare plans. Completion of an SAP evaluation is a mandatory step in the return-to-duty process, helping employees regain compliance while promoting recovery and accountability. At Live Life Wellness Clinic, we provide expert SAP services to support both employees and employers in navigating this process effectively.
